The greatest supper ever devised? At least very very close. Brown rice toast with cashew butter, sultanas, fig jam, cortland apple slices (local) and sweet grapefruit (not so local). I dunno why, it was just perfect last night, very comforting, when down like a sweet dream. And no stove required, just a mouth for nomming. I swear I do eat vegetables. :)
(I am indeed posting about toast. We are all allowed to do it once. Yes? Yes.)

Oooh, I want that meal!!! Yum...
Fig jam? Yes yes yes.
It is totally acceptable that you are posting about toast. Sometimes simple food is where it's at...and I totally identify with this meal. For the last two days, my lunch has been Ezekiel toast with Justin's Maple Almond Butter (my favorite), local golden delish apples, and local yellow bell peppers. Sooo satisfying. And I must try this fig jam. Yay for toast lunches and dinners!
pretty grapefruits! with those fruits, who needs vegetables?
I love toast. And fruit. So don't feel bad about posting this delicious (and healthy) looking dinner!
That is a perfectly comforting and happy dinner. Toast deserves its own post, no doubt!
Great toast post! I think it looks fantastic.
I love a toast post. Fruit is so fine too. Anything this yummy deserves a big nom.
Toast is cooking--I mean, you don't want to burn it and you want it to be just the right golden brown, and I don't know if you've ever experienced it, but it can be haaard to do that. Soufflé or toast? Equally hard!
Speaking of which, I need to make some pronto!
Sometimes the simplest meals are the best. And who doesn't love toast?
Yum. That grapefruit looks so juicy. It sounds like the perfect dinner to me, fuss free and extra tasty. Have you ever tried broiling your grapefruit before? I saw it on a menu in CA and I have been curious to try it ever since although I have not gotten around to it.
Hey, Toast deserves more props than it actually gets! I love the toast! Here's to toast, in all it's toasty glory!
It looks great! Love the colors.
