Happy lunar eclipse everyone. My sister ran in breathless and then we ran out to watch the moon slowly get blanketed by the red-black shadow of the earth, freezing our fingertips off, small pieces of 100% dark chocolate melting bittersweet down the sides of our cheeks. I think she felt more magic in it than I did, but as the elder I suppose that it's only fair, and it's her time to feel spirit in wonders like this. It was pretty magical anyways. And then we went in to eat vegan jamaican patties and I made some spiced rice, but really it's all about the moon tonight.

100% chocolate! I've had 99%, but wow - 100% must be the boss! (shameless plug for the movie, Juno) Also, I've been really into Indian food lately and can't wait to try the recipes below (just thought you'd like to know). (-:
Ah... That sounds like a wonderful evening... It was overcast here so I missed it. :(
I got to see the eclipse last night as well!! sounds like you experienced it quite deliciously, with the chocolate and the Jamaican patties - yum!
Too cloudy here to see it :-( Thanks for posting the picture! Looks beautiful!
I could see a lunar eclipse, fireworks, and the glory of the world in a vegan Jamaican patty. I am a sucker for those, there are a few places that I have tried them, and when I see them on a menu I always get them. Only vegan ones though. I am not vegan myself, but I just like those ones so much better. Sorry, I guess I just ranted. ;-) I saw the eclipse too, I thought it was lovely.
Happy Lunar Eclipse to you hehe :o)
I'd have loved to watch but needed to get sleep for today's meeting :/
